well given your belief I look forward to seeing you leaving constructive comments on every single map ever submitted, since it's an obligation and all.

seriously, this is not hard to grasp, and it is not based on opinion. no one is obligated to do ANYTHING on this site. you may believe what you like about feedback but that is irrelevant.

i'll say this again: no one owes you anything. if they offer you feedback then that is their choice and you should be grateful for that. if they don't leave you feedback then that's fine, and there could be any number of reasons why they haven't.

This isn't a constructive argument and the thing about opinions is that neither side is 100% right for everyone. I believe that as a constructive part of a community you are obligated to provide feedback, especially if you rate. And that is what I try to do on all of the maps that I rate.

Perhaps I should not have been so insulting to the people who rated my map and didn't leave comments but that doesn't make my opinion less valid or correct.

That is all I will say about this.

You are of course allowed an opinion, but that has no bearing on whether your opinion is right, which it absolutely isn't. As for insulting who you like, sure you can, but don't do it on numa.

Freedom of speech does not give you the right to insult other people on a public forum.

you shouldn't insult people for (a) rating low and (b) not giving feedback.

because:

(a) rates are a subjective evaluation of a maps quality and just because most people round here seem to give all maps a 5 doesn't mean other people don't rate maps properly, 0s, 1s and 2s are all valid rates which we really should see more of round here.

(b) you are not entitled to feedback. it is not something you should expect. instead, you should be grateful when people do deign to offer it, since it is a courtesy, not an obligation.
