!! Hint - Timing is key to pretty much everything you do in this level !!


This is a concept map (although it may have been done before, I've never seen it) which incorporates the use of the drone speed mod and the image map mod. It is difficult, and will more than likely take more than one try. Mainly it tests your speed, precision, and observational skills, but it also tests your luck in some ways as well (when you've played this enough times you'll see what I mean)

(This level was inspired partly by roi_cest_nom_nom's "Drones of the World Map" ( http://numa.notdot.net/map/123876 )

(I had originally intended to use glitched doors to make this, but that turned out to be too complicated, so I just used an image instead)

I didn't sacrifice any playability when making this level. Besides, the point of this map was to introduce the concept for people to use in their levels. Same thing with my other concept map, "Being bigger gets you less"

If it's any consolation to you, My original intention was to make you (the players, not you specifically) jump out of the switch boxes, having to dodge the zap drones again, instead of lettting you go through the one way on the side...

Well, what would you suggest?
It doesn't work that way. Sure, you get points for the concept, but why sacrifice playability at the expense of the concept? And if the concept doesn't work well at a beatable level, well then it isn't worth much anyway.

With this map, the concept is good, but it's just too hard. Not only that, but it would've taken 5 minutes max to make it more playable, more accessible, and more fun, and the concept would still be there in its entirety.

PsychoSnail - I did that because I wanted to give of that eerie "it's too quiet" feeling. (I got this idea from roi_cest_nom_nom's map as well)

Acrosstheuniverse - Thanks for figuring that out. I've fixed it so that you should no longer be able to cheat that way.

but you should've started the ninja off at the bottom, since getting down at the beginning is an unnecessary waste of time.

Nice concept, if any of you have ever played warcraft or starcraft then this should remind you of bounds or mazes respectivly. I love this it is really coool
