Description | This level is quite odd. I'll leave it at that.

Domination [nmaps.net] is becoming the king of maze maps. His first was Lockdown [nmaps.net]. I consider it to be of the highest level of excellence. But he knocks that Lock out of the water and steps up the difficulty in his new maze map, Corrupted [nmaps.net]. This is a gaspballingly long map, and it's too clever by far more than half. It would be a crime to reveal to much of this map, I will say that one should not immediately get the first door switch, because the door is used in a most tricky way.
You want more? Play the map. Now.

I think it fails as a puzzle/maze map
but it was a kinda fun action map.
Much respect to spect for really putting some detail into his/her comment.

I didn't find
anything challenging about this map and agree that spect is being ridic. You worked hard on this map but I didn't like it just for my eclectic tastes. NR.

Excuse me.
I found this map rather tedious, long and boring. You get a two from me.

Hey everybody
Raise your hand if you think spect is being a 'tard.
Ok lets count umm.... this could take a while. XD
5/5 great map, I especially like the use of one-ways. I rated it earlier this morning just didnt have time to comment.

You thought the mine part was hard?
I got that on the second time I got there, and I've never died there since. I don't find the top-left rocket to be hard either.
I do agree that the middle-right trapdoor switch is pretty pointless, though.
Anyway, I still love the vast majority of this map, especially the beginning. 5aved.

Okay, so...
There were three stages about this map. First, of course, I thought "hey, this map must be shit, I need to rate it as if it was shit". I saw the vertical doors which I never liked and a weird tileset and went ahead. I started playing and couldn't find out what to do. I'm not stupid though: I checked a demo and found out what I should do. This is when the second stage was initialized: I had 2 minutes fun playing the map. Then I got to the mine part. Over and over again. And again. And again.
This map is far from being balanced on the difficulty part. The mine field on the bottom left is seriously annoying and once you understand it, you will be killed at the top-left rocket. Along with playing, I understood after a while how the routing worked and found quite an embarrising stupidity of yours: after getting the mid-right switch, there's a closed door appearing, making you go down first, and then up again. I ask: "Why the fuck?" It really destroys the flow in a pathetic way. Were you -trying- to make this map bad? Same goes for the one-ways, which slow you down in a really bad way.
But I'm in a good mood today. This will be a three, because the glitching has been implemented in a sublime way (even though I HATE glitches) and because it is better than the last map that I rated a 2.
Slow all-gold.

Oh,
and this was good, because you got the difficulty almost spot on, for a map of this length, putting in too much hard stuff towards the end puts you off, but the rockets were a near perfect ending.

This map
is almost brutally clever in places. It feels almost like you've wrapped some intelligence round the blunt end of a hammer and taken a good swing. Which is very nice. I think the laser area could have done with some gold, but the rockets at the top were encased in some gorgeous flow.
