Map Data

Description --NREALITY MUST BE USED TO GIVE THIS MAP ANY SEMBLANCE OF A POINT--

HEY! STOP LOOKING AT THE THUMBNAIL! NOW! CHEATER! STOP CHEATING! Really, don't look at the map until the image has loaded over it.

A prime number on a bubble means it covers up a mine. A composite number means it doesn't.
A semiprime number (The product of two primes) on one of the ovally bubbles means it covers up a trap door for use as a platform. A non-semiprime number (prime or not) on an ovally bubble means it covers up nothing.

Please, math geeks (and everyone for that matter), try and do this without looking at the following two links: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prime_numbers and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Semiprime . Please.

Have fun. And hey, non-math geeks, don't rate down just because it takes a lot of looking at wikipedia. Please. I have a feeling someone out there will.

Oh...

and don't say it's because I don't like maths... 3 days ago I received my A Level results for Maths and Further Maths. Both A's.

...

I personally don't see how this deserves a 4/5. Sure, it must have taken quite a bit of effort, but maps shouldn't be measured on perspiration, they should be measured on quality. It's essentially a basic idea (not really an "innovation") implemented in an unexciting manner.

Nice

Nice Idea Mate

Handofgod,

Some people *cough* memorize perfect squares, theorems, prime numbers, and digits of pi for recreational purposes.

No, math doesn't have to stay in school by any means.

im a word guy.

i write music and songs and occasionally poems stories you name it.
Oh yeah and did i mention math is for school?
no?
oh well, 3.5 cuz i see alot of thought went into this.

yay!

5aved

and you didn't make playing it even if you know the numbers a walk in the park, if there was no fg image it would still be a little challenging

Oh my gosh

I love you

ARGH! MATH!

AAAAAHHHHHHHHH!

NR

interesting concept but not one that I'm going to spend 10 minutes trying to figure out. I'd rather not rate than give you a low rating though.

Well

I could rate really high and look smart, but I couldn't figure out most of this. NR cause I really don't feel like thinking, and this feels like an educational game.
Alas, my mind is not one of numbers but one of words, so I completed this terribly slowly the first time.

Still, interesting use of an old concept with N-reality (I did something with prime numbers once as well but opted not to submit it).

Much faster demo.

4/5.
