i agree with frogs,
This race style has been around for awhile. I don't have a problem with it, but it almost seems too easy to make this style anymore. It'd just be nice to see something else.

dang right. you just keep making good races. doesn't matter what people whine about. you can still make innovative races, in this style, that will be popular and fun to play.

I'm not sure I agree with you.
For me I'm tired of race maps being about the fastest and hardest routes. I wish that someone were to make a really great race map that made it about the player and slowing down / speeding up as the enemies presented them selves to you along the path. I would appreciate a race map that involved the player to rethink how fast and slow he goes throughout rather than know that I have to go as fast as I possibly can because that is how the author made the map.

I had a big long post on why I give this map a 2, becuase it is below average, but NUMa logged me out, so i lost it all
anyways here is thejist of it. You didn't plan for the fastest possible, I had to really severly slow myself down just to finish the map becuase the chaingun and the drone at the end.

I'm starting to think that races are more like playable DDA's these days.
The rockets didn't do anything really. They seemed just for show.
The chaingun and laser drone were AWESOME. If you go too fast on the laser drone section when you jump up you get hit by the laser. I loved that.
The thwumps were nice for a small adrenaline rush. Other than that they didn't really add to gameplay much besides force you to shoot down some sections fairly fast.
I liked it enough but if you had done more stuff like with the chaingun and laser drone this would have been a perfect 5/5.
