gold again wasn't that nice

but i did like the gameplay, even if it was a bit easy. aesthetics were pretty good too.

It's usually best to place gold where you're not going to get it if you take the fasest route. It's also good to make getting all of the gold challenging. So i think he's saying the gold in the tunnels is unnecessary. Also, you only need the top of the double mines. In fact you have some more in there as well.
