What's wrong with opinions? I don't think an authors rates signify how good they are.

Gameplay was ok, tileset was good, but the gold was mediocre. A strong 3 from me on this.

is the 3-dimensional spiral effect achieved at the bottom of the map. i like it. erm, the object placement? 3/5 for the tileset. i mean, 4.25 for the tileset, 2 for the gameplay.

However, in saying that does not automatically mean that I'm claiming that I can do better.

Numa is here so that can share our maps and offer opinions on others. We don't have to rate a map depending on how well we can make maps ourselves.

I never said I could make a better tilset. It is just that this is not appealing to me. You might disagree but it just looks as if there were many random tiles placed and then cleared a big section for his playable area. But technically, it wasnt what I was talking about. The mines and doors just dont catch my eye. In my maps, I make it so its fun for me to play and only me. If you have noticed or not, my average rating is a 3 (I think). But personally, except for my first couple, I'm really happy playing my own maps and usually tend to do so every couple weeks.

as in, take the tileset, lay down some new objects - give credit etc?

i really doubt you could make a better tileset, or even map. Look at superstardom's profile, hes got 33 out of 37 maps rated, with an average of 4/5 on every map. Thats pretty amazing for a new author.

I think this tileset is amazing, aswell as the chaingun placement and gold placement. 4/5
