Map Data

Description An attempt at a minimalistic map. Getting the switches will require some skill; there are two ways to get them.

YES

FINALLY DID IT, FOR META_ING GAH!
DONT HATE on noobiness
Demo Data

I used numbies way

without looking at his demo
So now there's three methods. An easy one (Numby's), a medium one (corner jumping), and a hard one (walljumping between the mines)

Completion Demo

Walljumping method. :P

using the first route that came to my mind. I know sub-330 is possible as I had about 287 when the gauss killed me in the chimney.

It's a bit harder than the normal method in my opinion, but I believe it can be faster (for speedruns, anyway) if you can pull it off well.

I got the same number as you, even though I used a different route. How weird is that?

this is cool

part of it is like some of the maps it isnt letting me submit yet, i like it 4/5

**

corner jumping the left*
... dyslexia?
a(n fbf'd) ~300 frame speed run, showing the way I thought fastest (corner jumping the right, like my demo, and using enough force (because it's possible... just very hard for me to do with a laggy computer) to catch both switches before landing again... then fall down the tunnel and chimney ending on the right side to zoom straight through the exit) but lost the copied demo data when I got frustrated and tab-q'd the window trying to get a faster one. (Strange Wine thing that clears the clipboard when closing an app or something)

Can't wait to see the alternative method :)
This way works as well. (So that you don't have to have dual precision in avoiding the mines on the wall AND hitting the corner)

I'll post the alternative method tomorrow, but I'd like to see if any one can figure it out (or do it) before that.

Sloooow AGD...

But at least I completed it with tough to-the-frame jumps with a constant lag ^^
More luck than skill... Since skill can't apply to a ~50ms key delay :P
