Description | A "codemasher" (http://metanet.2.forumer.com/index.php?showtopic=4963) of the map everyone thought too long and hard except me (Zebra) and a recent submission to NUMA, Charred. My objective was contrast, and I achieved this very well.
I've gotten every piece of gold, and every switch, running parts individually. It's all possible, although some parts only barely (some are very puzzling, some are just plain frustrating. This was rather intentional ;) ). The only really constant thing between the two halves is the difficulty. This is hard enough to merit its own thread in the Contests & Tournaments thread, at least getting the gold in addition is :x This will definately earn you a dedication if you complete this. No all-gold necessary, but if several complete, the one with the most gold gets the dedication. Choose the style of dedication when you comment with a demo...I'll put a lot of work into it. You have a week after the first completion demo posted to out-do it if you so desire. Edit: Okay, one part wasn't just hard, it also almost necessitated frame-by-frame (completed it a couple times outside of demos, but eh...). So I retooled the part involving coming down from the squeeze, removing the squeeze. Naturally, I added a nasty set of mines to compensate. Edit 2: Lowered the object count a little by removing unnecessary gold. Made it so that gauss doesn't fire on the third lane from the top. |
