Sorry if that was confusing, I'm a Trekkie by nature.
First off, the ninja exists one frame at a time. Launchpads (bouncers) change the ninja's velocity. To make a transporter you have one launchpad that you make really really f'ing strong; so strong that in two frames the ninja will be, say, halfway across the screen. Then you have another launcpad where the ninja will be in two frames that brings his speed way back down so he doesn't shoot off the page. The code in level data for the transporter looks something like this; 2^468,315,0,-1!. 2 says that it's a launchpad, 468,315 is like how high and how far right-left on a grid it is, 0 is the horizonal direction, -1 is the vertical direction, and ! tell the game that the code for that enemy is over. yes

it is very hard
the hidden launchpads were very annoying. were they meant to shoot you through the gaps? because they didnt.
dont cluster objects like mines and gold. it just makes the load time longer, and the lagtime much higher. the ending i think is impossible to get out the chute with the gold coverying the mines.
