imo there was too much gold, but that didn't really matter. nice layout, i liked the seeker.
i disagree with fotf about the tiles. you've made quite a few maps with this sort of layout.

(only for me though) but from looking at the map. i'd say i would of liked the rockets and laser. it looks fairly well laid out, albeit generic.
i can confidently say that the symmetricallity was bad. not that it's always bad to use. but in this case you basically play the same area of map twice.
just with the taking from heatwave thing. It is fine and all. i mean. you can. but this game is supposed to be really creative, so you should be taking as many ideas and things directly from your head rather than other maps, though it is good to look at other maps to see how they pull things off. to see how authors are able to work in their ideas, and make things that aren't so generic, yet still fun.
basically. to be a great author in this game. the key is to take things from -your- head. and be fairly original, sure, it's nice to pick up ideas and things every now and then, but make sure most maps foundations are from your head

it is just a better way
if you take something directly from a map i find it's pretty hard to create good maps. just because. i dunno. it never works. and it was in relation to the map. you used the tile style, again.
