If you really can't take your maps being rated down then disable ratings, most of the time people assign sniper values to legit votes anyway.

If you can't take it I suggest you avoid it entirely.

You were getting good, not at just tilesets, but at levels too. Besides, it's not like you have 0; and ChaoStar, I had no idea that you only had that many. Good thing you didn't quit :P. Palantini, don't quit, as there are some people (like me) who do enjoy your maps.

If you want to leave, fine. Nobody is going to stop you. But, it takes time to get good at things. And obviously you need a little more time in the oven until you get that golden brown color of finding your style! I have less rates then you, and I have been around much, much longer. So quit complaining, and if you like making maps submit them for others to see, while disabling the ratings. That alone eliminates two of the three things you can't stand. Just give this whole leaving thing a little bit more thought before you make a decision.

about being underappreciated... you have what, 11 out of 70 maps rated... there's a ton of people who have 0 (like me), and we're not going, "oh I quit 'cause you don't all congratulate me for everything." People aren't always recognized for what they do. Even if you make an amazing map, the best you've ever seen, and nobody even notices, you can still just be proud of yourself. You don't need others to tell you how good you are, you can just believe.

You have the option to prevent people from rating a map, just tick the box when you're submitting it.

Oh, and never use an autogenerator unless you're having a joke; all it does is shift attention away from the map itself.

you should be here sharing the movements and styles/appeals you like. You shouldn't be here making maps *FOR* anyone else other than you. You put them here so others can like it with you, or ignore it and send it into your profile archive. This isn't a popularity or mapmaking contest (unless you are in one on the forums). It is a place where people with a single like interest gather to have fun.
