You truly feel lost in this map. Everything about it comes clashing together into a densely woven knot that you must navigate. You're in a hostile jungle here, and the even when you progress forward through the hellish terrain, the tiles and mines seem to close in behind you, urging you onward.

The gold is ridiculous. The enemies are very annoying, and the tiles give you no room to run. I don't agree with Maximo though; PALEMOON has been here for a long time, so he knows what an old-school map is. Therefore, I see there are many reasons to not like this map, but give it a rest. You should never disagree with the reviewer and/or the reason it was reviewed. It's idiotic and annoying.

it's intriguingly hard...but I can't stop playing! The only thing I don't like is the long walk to the exit/exit portal.

I actually think Cerb got it right, if anyone. This had a chance without the switches--lots of interesting paths.

Maximo hit a nail

The middle ground of modern mapping is littered with these types of over-long, cluttered, lazily designed, and personality free maps.

Not taking a pop at you super, you don't seem to fall back on these as your standard type and generally experiment a lot more than most. Gratrz on the feature, but I would definitely have chosen something different from you.

Not really good.

My main problems were that the level is overlong and that most of the switches are unecessary. This could have been a non-linear map.
The clutter was annoying. And since the map was so huge in this case, it made it particularly boring.

I really think maximo hit the right note in this one.

I didn't like how the gold made you go out of your way just to fit into every little part of the map. The guass turrets are incredibly annoying since the awkward terrain made jumping to where you need to go difficult. I just don't like having to redo the whole map because of one mistake while going across some place for the 3rd time

NR since I have no clue what to rate this. Kind of falls between the valid ratings.
if feeling lost is a good thing, this is a success.

The map on the other hand... ugh. I won't bother repeating maximo's points, but I think you could have find better choices. Maybe even better forests by him, but idk.

You have successfully found a map that epitomizes what I dislike about modern map making conventions. So much clutter, way too long, unnecessarily relentless the entire way, precision jumps needed constantly to deal with the overabundance of enemies, over complex tiles that do nothing but distract and distort the desired path to take.

Nothing against your map, I'm sure if I wasn't such a dinosaur I would like it, but this map is just everything I dislike all rolled up into one.

And no,actually mines and gold were placed really well,if you try to take the gold,and make a false step,that will cause your life.Other than that it's a self-explanatory map,you can find your way out in a self-repetetive tileset jungle,which gives the concept of the map itself.You nearly everything against the player,which makes a very hard a a limited gameplay,and amazingly it manages to do this in a very little area.Well done,this is a map that perfectly balances enemies and concept which you greatly added to map,overall this is the best map that has an amazing gameplay in a while.

those aesthetics

are the best part about this map. this map looks like a hypercomplex mess of a Pollock painting or something. quite nice.

Its a difficult map, which I like. I can also clearly see that you put effort into this, which is evident by the very nice tileset. My one complaint is there is too much gold. Unline RF and bob, I actually think the mines add nicely to the atmosphere (even if it makes it harder =P).
Keep up the good work.
yucky gameplay. I stumbled sverywhere. The guass turrets were placed badly, only in areas where you could get stuck in a shaft so they can put you out with a cheapshot. Laer drones would've bneen more befitting. RadiumFalcon is certainly right; there's too goddam much gold and mines!! But unlike RF, I hate these maps. exasperating. 2.5/5
