Description | Bonzai presents to you a progressively harder mine-jumper with an element of adventure bound to the heart of the map. The tileset, though simple, is aesthetically pleasing and reinforced with several motifs, both in tile use and object use. It is also completely functional while suggesting a little bit of openness and interconnectedness. At the same time, the map certainly adheres to a linear ideal; the adventure is well thought out, presenting challenge after challenge while you get to traverse a map sprinkled with gold to satisfy your thirst each time your hunger kicks in. And while the difficulty is certainly biased, it's sure to give you a challenge you can enjoy for more than a minute or two. Yeah bitches. I right my own reviews. That's how I roll. Map inspired by E.S. Posthumus, hence the title. |

bonzai has already written a review for Isfahan, but let me elaborate more on their description. From the outset it feels comfortable (though difficult) and builds from there, taking you on a counter-clockwise journey, pretending that it will continue in that direction. Many maps tend to have a difficulty spike, but Isfahan shows what it means to have a difficulty curve. Each section demands slightly more from you until the culmination of a well-timed jump that takes you to victory. Just be careful of the drones... I found it pays to be patient and plan ahead before taking them head-on. — origami_alligator

Looks fantastic; I really liked it when I first saw those one-ways. But I don't really like how they play. Lots of little details kept bothering me about the map, but I couldn't stop playing, so I'm not sure how to feel.

hmm
i could do all of it up to the return journey through the mine tunnel. right before the exit where the drone would block me.

Pretty nice
Like how the oneways were used, they certainly increase the difficulty. Actually, this is great. Pretty Nexxish. That's a good thing. 4aved.
