...so much as clean transitions. You can do clunky and odd ball without forced transitions. The aforementioned LV was great at this. He took weird transitions and made moving between them part of the experience, not part of the map to get to the experience. This map in it's various challenges is above average, but the sections between them are filler at best.
I wouldn't mind some flow to go with it, though. :/
I agree with you. I was trying to make it more oddball, less flowy.
you notice how when I transition from challenge to challenge is usually involves me stopping completely and having to go the other direction, even when I go for gold this is the case. The various segments just don't chain together. Whether or not this is a symptom of working with two mappers or a lack of playtesting is unclear, but it's definitely an issue.

I'm not trying to piss on your map, it has it's moments (the right side for instance is rather well done), I'm just being a critic, since praise is so much less helpful

It's all decent really, but it seems no thought was put into how the ninja would complete the parts in succession. The transition from the top switch to the chaingun hall is atrocious. Transitioning from the floorgaurd to the switch part is horrible and ruins all flow of that part and forces me to do some awkward jumper segment in what is clearly meant to be an action map. It's just not good. When I loaded this map I thought it looked like an LV map and I was excited, but upon playing it I was let down by the lack of polish and playtesting put into the various parts (and more importantly the segments between those parts)

One more rating? I think so. 4aved. Awesome.
