Anyway, what I want to say is that this is a pretty good map for a first.
Try to look through some of the better mapmakers and see if you can emulate them in any way.
The best way to do this is to look through the featured maps...

ok, a few things...

First of all, lemme teach you some stuff. ded stands for dedication, agd stands for all gold demo, and dda stands for don't do anything. To view a demo, open up N and press the ~ key. Next, there are two boxes of code. The top has the level data, and the bottom has the demo data. Copy the demo and paste it in the demo data box. Then press 3, then press Q, the press P. Yes, notice nothing moves! So, you need to turn on caps lock. Hope this helps and good luck! :)
