Damn

I thought you all would at first try to go right, but you all seemed to have guessed where to go. It was planned, that the player should wonder how this was possible until he noticed the name "Christoph Columbus" and from there on was surprised how the map worked.

But now I think, I should just have submitted this as a race. :P

It's basically this, but more linear, with less ingenuity, and tricks that not only annoy the player instead of please them the first time around, but upon discovery make the map extremely simple and seem like a deus ex machina. (Also, the NaNs are extremely obvious to anyone looking at the thumbnail)

That said, that's a very high benchmark to follow, and assuming you haven't seen this before, it's still a good race in its own right. I like how you've managed to produce this concept yourself and in your own style, but other than that I can't really praise this over the example.

Now what I would like to see is a way of completing this whilst avoiding all of the NaNd objects. Then the whole gimmick thing would only be an obstacle for highscorers instead of everyone.
