I could understand a two or even a one.

But these were obviously 0s. The map had a five star rating before sniping and it was on the top of the hot maps page. two rates later it was down to two stars and was at the very bottom of the page. Someone who rates a 0 without even commenting on why is obviously sniping.

Even if your map has been getting good ratings and someone rates a bit lower, it's not necessarily sniping - not everyone likes the same sort of thing, and some users tend to be more generous with ratings than others (eg. some people give a score of four only to excellent maps, while others give it to any map they think is reasonably good). After all, if we all agreed we wouldn't need an average rating!"

umm

im not a big math guy, but I had a 5 star rating from two people 5 from one. so the second could have rated a four or a five, then two more rated and it was at a two rating. then map rated a five and it went to three, someone else voted and it stayed at three, then you voted and it stayed at three. does that make sense?

I don't get it.

How many did you have before you got sniped. Cause if me and Map voted 5, 2 snipers before that and 3 5s before that, it should be 25/35 which is like 3.5^ or 4. Weird. I guess maybe it went 5, 5, 4, 0, 0, 5, 5 = 24/35. That's just under a 4. Hopefully you will get another rate.

Tell me about it.

I got sniped twice on my most recent map. And once on EVERYTHING else. That was painful. Watching all your maps go from a 4 to a 3 (one from a 3 to a 2). Would you mind countersniping a couple of them? No one has yet.
Anyways, this is fun. I might rate a 4 or a 5... not sure, but I'll make it a 5 since you got sniped so much. Great gameplay.

yeah, top-left is more difficult than the bottom

i actually try to make maps using all four corners, the middle, the whole map, etc. i try not to use the same spot each time, but many of my better maps use the top, so i post those.
