There is no 5-limit per day limit. There is however, a 2 map limit on the hotmaps page at any given time, and this broke that rule.

You do /not/ upload as many maps as you will
the fact of the matter is, this is numa, and if you use numa, you are subject to its rules. There's a reason there's a 5-per-day limit; it's because others who make maps spend time on them and don't want their maps constantly being pushed down by stupid shit like this.
