Nah, there ain't too much gold.
It's in fun, pre-wrapped, accessible clumps, and each clump has all kinds of angles of approach.
That said, the bottom rocket was ill-placed; bet too squeezy, I think, especially since it covers not one but two gold spots.

Way too much gold
That bottom center rocket makes the entire map too much. I'm sure that was the rocket that killed me on one of the best runs I've ever made.
