hmm...
*Hope you're up for reading this. My comments are often long; I enjoy constructive criticism. Here we go!*
I did like it. I can suggest a few minor improvements.
- gold placement. It's better. They are all easily accessible, so that the AGD has the same flow as normal completion, which is most important in gold placement. A minor thing you can do is to make the gold look better on the map by spreading it out more, so that they are less dense and more frequent. It's an aesthetic thing.
- The way the tileset is makes it a little hard to move. try using 2, 3, 6, & 7 tiles.
- Go back and try a few spots here:
` - getting from the bottom-right to the top-right
` - getting into the top-left room
I think they are a little more difficult than you want them to be, as you aim for this to be easier.
- When a map is separated into rooms like this, it becomes necessary to avoid redundancy. The four rooms with the gauss cannons are very similar. Try for more variation, especially with simple challenges.
- A really really little thing is that the duck room probably only needed one switch on the bottom, then one on the top like you did.
I'm just picking anything out that I can think of. I over-all liked it. I like the drone coordination, and how the laser drone kind of follows you throughout the course. The duck room was a decent, fun challenge. I give it a 3.5/5 (3).
One last personal thing; it's not a correction. If I were making this, I would try to make the duck look a little more like a duck. I think it's safe to say that you didn't have a picture of a duck at hand and tried your hardest to make it look as much like a duck as possible. It's not a flaw not to do so, and many people would prefer a basic image or maybe not want to spend the time to do so. However, it is my personal style to create an accurate image. I'm just throwing the idea out for you to consider.
Wow, I think this may be my longest comment ever posted on NUMA (this doesn't mean your map needed more work, I just happened to find many things to talk about). You have a good perception on how to make a map fun or exciting, so keep it up!
