Description I have a question.
What is more important...the looks of a map or the play of the map?
Because I many have noticed I am pretty decent with gameplay but tiles is not my strong suite. I have gotten a few rates but not enough for the time spent. I just dont have the artistic ability to do the things that some of these guys do...I can use tiles that are great and put a gameplay that suites but i cannot make great tiles...anyways I just was curious and ironicly this make seems to lack both but of course the gameplay dominates the tiles lol.

Well

The gameplay is mostly affected by objects (enemies, bounce blocks, gold), but you should try to make the gameplay ALSO affected by the tileset. It's harder, but it will make the map look good, and play good ^^.

I don't know if my maps are a good example but whatever...

Levels, in my opinion, should have a happy medium between game-play and aesthetics. Your map shouldn't have to sacrifice one for the other... Don't look at my maps for examples... I'm not brilliant, but I've seen plenty of maps that have both aspects equally

i think gameplay is most important. But if you can pull off good looks, thats a bonus.

I like

the zap drones the best :D. It is like the perfect difficulty. I also like the mines you added cuz then the player must stay in action. Great Great. If you have anything to add to it go ahead.. I cant add anything its quite the map the way it is :D.

call this a collab for you. Feel free to change anything you want. If you feel its excellente after you edit it then submit it as a collab between us. If you dont think its quite ready just post what you come up with and I will work on it again. This is a tileset I have had for Awhile. All the enemies just have a weird feel in it. You can change the tileset too to fit your needs if you want to. Have fun :D.

If

you want good tiles and think you can make objects well try collaborating with somebody. Many people here have the opposite problem and would love to collab with you. Making tilesets is something you get from practice... Artistic helps but it isnt the most important thing. If you work at it you can get better. Also The look is kind of important because people are drawn to the look of a cool tileset and you will definitely get more rates with a killer tileset
