i liked it. was fun, kept having a lot of issues with the lasers, but overall it was nice. 4/5

I was talking about races in general

not yours specifically. I very well remember quite a few of your races and their looks, especially this. [nmaps.net] But I was prepared to make that comment as soon as I saw the thumb, not the author. When I did see it was by you, I played it, and it is really good ~~(except for that laser I finally beat grrrawkjfsdghjk)~~, but I still had that qualm about mentioning its generic looks, and decided to anyway. Sorry for pissing you off, man, I enjoy your maps, race or action, and I'm looking forward to the barrage (that's not said often), but at the same time I'd be lying if I wasn't a little disappointed if the next few looked like this.

After getting killed by the top laser for half an hour,

I finally got the timing down. And I love it. The soaring jumps are awesome, and most of the laser timing is really good. The minimalism is refreshing, too. I just wish that top laser weren't so fickle.

The top laser keeps killing me at 7xx frames

Other than that it seems to get better as it goes along, but I'm getting really sick of the "cave full of gravity-defiant asteriods" look in ever race ever. Surely something can be done about this.
