i hate everything

Guys, what did I do?
All I did was to say that I liked Yahoozy better in 3 aspects. It doesn't say anything about Sunset. It's silly to hate this map seeing as it isn't worthless.
I don't care if certain areas of the tileset lead to nowhere; sometimes it adds to the atmosphere and adventure, and at worst it detracts from the aesthetics. But when it comes to gold placement there is a fine line between unpredictability and lack of purpose. The placement here veers towards lack of purpose to me.
I can appreciate difficulty spikes, but if it's merely frustrating here then it's detrimental to quality.
boba - in your indirect words you suggest Sunset provides a different experience from Yahoozy's maps and for obscure reason, but I think the difference is merely because Sunset isn't Yahoozy. That isn't a bad thing.
Also, it doesn't take long to figure out Sunset's child-like and frivolous disposition. When you see Yahoozy as a formidable creative force it is easier to dismiss Sunset. I don't dislike Sunset though.

What the hell, seven_two?
Sunset never made any insulting remarks to you or Yahoozy. That was boba. If you're mad, take it up with him; there's no reason to insult Sunset when literally all he did was post a map. It's one thing to say you hate the map, it's another to say you hate the person. Sunset did nothing to you (and hell, neither did boba; he targeted Yahoozy, not you).

while we're on the topic of Yahoozy...
I'd like to argue against seven_two's negative attribution to the gold distribution in this map. The "bad" placement and inconsistent size per cluster is clearly an attempt to scoff the predictable and comforting gold layout one can find in many Yahoozy maps. This scoffing, along with the spaces that allow the player to trail off into areas that are generally disconnected from the centre of the action, give this map a post-Yahoozian status, rathar than a neo-Yahoozian status. Here, Sunset provides the brief illusion of maintaining the cohesion of Yahoozian mechanics and aesthetics while in actuality questioning the structural integrity of the progenitor's mapping principles by presenting the "haphazard" continuity among the different spaces of the map and the non-uniform relationship between the enemies and the objects. The wandering chaingun is the primary catalyst of the "jarring" transition between ease of the zap drone pits and the difficulty of the exit switch chamber; it therefore supports just as well the aforementioned ideal of the post-Yahoozian mapmaker: after all, who needs a fine gradient between two relatively separate levels of gameplay difficulty? Yahoozy does, that's who.
But you can see Sunset from the West side real good, so he wins over in general.

And if you want further opinion...
... I like Yahoozy better as a map maker, person and intellectual.

Cliched design.
I was about to note the blatant stylistic similarities to Yahoozy's maps, but Yahoozy might have done that better.
Badly-placed and excessive gold - they tend to be scattered randomly. The two pieces of gold in the mined corridor was horrible. Once the chaingun's range included the exit switch chamber, things became frustrating.

death by cleavage: what a way to die.
it's pretty easy if you allow the chaingun to wander over to where the zap drone is.
I'm diggin that Yahoozian tile scheme (although I like you better as a person than Yahoozy).

despite definitely overdone gold placement
this map just works, really well. they mechanics all come together, gameplay's fantastic, and the tile/gameplay interaction was surprisingly smooth and enjoyable rather than frustrating. solid map

I was going to give this a 5
but then I saw that there were no boobs in the map at all. 0.

I'm slightly disturbed
at the description. I want to say "that's what she said" but that's gross.
