Sorry, I meant only, aesthetically speaking, it seems somewhat at odds with the tiles, especially the right side. Obviously is placed in an excellent manner, and can be taken in a single pass. I was referring to the pattern.
I would have done so, is the same, but different pattern, from my point of view based on aesthetics, and also subtly indicates the flow to continue, that the flow can also be good.

Sadly,
The gold patterns here are not the best, if you had better, you'd have an excellent map. Other than that, it's a really good map, a simple idea and well executed. 4
As a tip, try the next time the gold standards are more in harmony with the tileset or failing that, visually pleasing ways.
