What a nice comment, Loved it!
You could go on for pages about how those locked doors are a commentary on how the audio-visual and psychological experience of an N map stretches beyond the simplest sense of completing the level, or even getting all the gold. About how the satisfaction of grabbing a switch is powerful enough that people will do it even if the doors lead nowhere (I mean hell, the sound alone is kinda lovely, isn't it?). By extending that into metaphor, that's pretty astute /social/ commentary. In conclusion, I digress.
To be a little more to the point, it can be fun jumping around and dodging a gauss turret, and you provided a good landscape for doing it. Looking forward to a bigger map from you once you're going at full steam.
