I found it a bit undercooked

Sure, the little sections where you're hopping about through the gaps are fun, but I think you need to make the end sections where the rockets are a bit more interesting.

Sound and classic design. People will tell you the first section was "empty" but I thought it was very effective.

I'm not certain about your choice of enemy though. I don't think the rockets suit their environment very well.
