Description This is a map I took quite some time on. I did do an AGD.. but accidentally deleted the data. I'll get another one later as it isn't too hard, for now though I must leave on a short vacation.

Anyways, Abandoned is a preview to a Map Pack I am working on which I have dubbed into the well. Its the first action level of the pack and I hope its got enough action. The Theme of the map is indeed an abandoned mine, the mines and gold represent ore in that mine.

It should be a fun play-through, It goes pretty quick and keeps you on your toes. Hope you enjoy!

This is better

because it has a theme, and I can tell you just thought it out more.

Great job! Now that you have the base rules down, it is now your turn to keep getting better--and this comes, purely, through time. After understanding what makes a great map, the only way to enforce it is just through time and experience. This is definitely a step up though! 4/5 for improving, and following most of the rules I gave ;)

Meanapple is right, gold totally stops flow, kills the fun. Also, gold placement is terrible, z-snapping is not the way to go.

Flow is not required in a map to make it fun. Decent map for the most part, though. I did get the whole feel with gold being ore and everything, but I disliked the position of the most of the objects aesthetically. Just needed to polished in those areas needed and that's really all I can think about currently.

Also..

The gold is supposed to represent ore in the nooks and niches. I wanted to keep it out of the way most the time instead of directly on the main path

My bad

I didn't intend for it to be racist (Punned =P) but I did sort of want the gold to change to flow. The idea behind the map is an abandoned mine. Not an abandoned mine race track. I want it to give the feeling that you have to tread carefully because you don't know what is going to come up next.
