Description | Tomorrow's destination is up.
Don't let the challenges in your path discourage you. Don't pay attention to the bad things in life. Just rise up toward the reward at the end. Yay, my 50th map! Dedicated to: 123leonidas321: You're really cool and nice, and you helped me make better maps. lsudny: Hilarious, and the first to welcome me to the wonderful world of Hotel NUMA. flagmyidol: You're an admin, and you helped me change my avatar (since for some reason, it wouldn't work when I tried it.) You rock dude! Traveleravi: You helped me in many more ways than ten. FONDAA: Interesting map style, and all of your comments crack me up. Meanapple: Because you're just plain cool. DJ_M: You can beat any map I throw out here, can't you? kiaora: You helped me when I was an ultra-n00b. Now I am a full-grown Perfectly Ultimate Great n00b, and I couldn't have done it otherwise. blue_tetris: Do I seriously have to explain this one? If I missed anyone, let me know. |

They don't seem to be...
PALEMOON, Yahoozy, Phie, RT, Mintnut, etc... there are still a few from that era or just after.
The main reason I consider that age "golden" is that the level of interactivity was higher, there were more maps, and there was more diversity in styles, there are still mappers active today who rival those I listed in terms of quality.

Anyway, I saw your comment in other map wondering about Floorguard's NReality mods, here you go!:
Floor Guards
Object Number: 7
r
Default = 6
Size
Speed
Default = 5.1428568
Values over about 30 for thier size will only continue to increase the aesthetic size; the maximum size of their collision detection zone is 30.
Increasing the size can have adverse effects on their placement; when one attempts to load the code, it changes the guard's location on the Y axis to compensate for the size (so that the bottom of the guard will still touch the bottom). When going into the editor, it reverts changes, but keeps the coordinates intact, which leads to newly located guards, moved upwards. Adding the code again and loading will again compensate, moving the guard even further up. Furthermore, attempting to move the guard manually in the editor, while helping, still does not completely eradicate the changes; when exiting out of the editor, the guards will be moved back up, though to a lesser amount.
Individual Floor Gaurd
4^x,y,1^Type,Speed,AlwaysChase
Type
0 = Floor
1 = Ceiling
2 = Left Wall
3 = Right Wall
Speed
Default = 5.142856
AlwaysChase
Boolean
Floor Gaurds will always chase the ninja regardless of thier current position
Rememeber that you map need to look like that:
TileData|ObjectData|BackgroundImage|ForegroundImage|NRealityMapType|ObjectMod|PlayerMod|AreaTrigger
Also you have everything you need here:

ENJOY!!! ;)

read this

or, skim through it i suppose. pretty simple once you understand it honestly
i'd recommend just using mibbit [client00.chat.mibbit.com] before feeling comfortable enough to download any clients. click where it says "Server" next to the mibbit scroll-down option, type in "irc.mountai.net", no quotes obviously. type in your name and go to the regular channel, being #n . though we hardly talk in the irc nowadays, people are usually busy with college, high school, work, or whatever else
hope this helps

an acronym for "internet relay chat"
metanet has its own server maintained by KinGAleX, an ex-admin. it's where people go to chat about whatever they feel like chatting about. it's where a lot of inside jokes seem to happen

it's a common avatar
