love love love the structure in this

but there are a few places that feel a little too constricted for my taste - both of the little tunnels with mines on both sides are a pain to get through, especially the one directly before the gauss at the end where the laser forces you to move very quickly indeed. Dropping down past the rocket in the top left is also fairly annoying.

on the whole, though, I really dig this, particularly how the laser section acts a fulcrum for all the little segments dotted around the edges and how those segments all play slightly differently thanks to the enemy choices
