I like getting comments too, but personally I prefer to see demos on my map, because demo means somebody cared enough of my map that he completed it, or at least tried. (unless it's unplayable map)
Rates are also good, but they can be often biased (For example I usually give 4-5 to most of maps I rate)
Comments can be good, but they can be useless too. See example below. I like comments that say something about the map, so here you go: I like this, tiles and look is good, but it's quite hard, especially to AGD and the gausses can be overwhelming in some places. Also, here is a completetion demo.

good design with the gausses
there's a bead being drawn on you pretty much wherever you want to go in this map. Without a lot of flat surfaces i did a lot of clunking around getting shot while trying to move. the tension's great though, really stressful through the whole thing
