My dad according to my mom has done some questionable stuff involving money, and it's been going on for some time now so they wanted to divorce. They've been busy with the divorce for nearly a year now, but my dad wants to dick with my mom and also stretch everything out very long to get more money out of it (which he probably won't anyways). His idea in this is "oh lets just not pay anything until she forgets about it and won't bug me about it anymore".

As they were never married my mom's not going to get any money out of it at all, my dad submitted to pay a certain amount of money he came up with himself, it's nearly nothing (like 7000 euros) to keep our old house for himself which is valued a lot, like, 250,000 or something, and he still hasn't paid even that. On top of that, my mom also married her new man who she'se been with for quite some time and now they both own the house along with my dad. He'se got a very good lawyer and they're proceeding to go to court to make him pay.

Due to him not paying because he'se being greedy, we don't have a lot of money right now. We need to fix up the new house, especially the attic since that's where me and my sister will get our rooms. Right now we just put some closets there as walls but i don't even have any furniture to put anything in except for those and it's not even enough, plus living right next to my sister without any good soundproof isolation is THE WORST.

Ehhhh, it's not very fun and all but i'm not really bothered by it. In the near future my mom will be starting a store in herbs and stuff in the building (no weed if you were thinking that) and it's looking like a good plan. Living in the city center is a lot of fun so far. And i'll also still see my dad regularly so it's not as if that's taken from me or something. I don't really have a problem with it all.
