| Description | Then there are maps like this one. I have absolutely no idea why this wasn't included in any of the main Legacy packs. Perhaps the design was too linear, but this is almost everything that I look for in a map - it even follows the progression of optional gold that I hold so dear to my own maps. Hell, this may have even been one of my maps, we worked so much together on so many of these, that I can't even honestly remember many of whose maps were whose.
But this is an example of innovation, execution, and consistency all coming together at once. The design on the left stands out, and the mines going up the slope look slightly out of place, but beyond those small aesthetic picks, I think this is a phenomenal map. |
