| Description | Wow. First off, I would like to dedicate this map to all the snipers out there. Now, most of you people hate sniper's guts, and hope they rot in hell. The thing is, snipers bring balance to Numa. Without them, Numa would be just as bad oof, or possibly worse. The reason why is because maps would be placed on the top rated charts depending on how many 5 they got. The rating system would still be flawed. Any new map that was good would be impossible to be put on the top rated chart, because they would never get as many 5's as some of the other maps. So think about that next time you smash your monitor on the floor when you get all your maps sniped.
The next thing I would like to talk about is the map itself. I consider this a man race map, because the entire map does not walk you through every step. You have to think about every jump. Baby maps are the ones that are super easy to figure out. The path is completely drawn out for the player; there is not thinking factor. In this map, you have to think so much, you have to play it a bunch of times to get the flow. IF you beat this on your first try, you are amazing. And finally, I will be gone for the next week. I am going on vacation. So, goodbye numa. I loved you so. |

The top rated maps arent which maps get the most 5's...
It means the maps with the best average ratings. Snipers cant touch the rating of a map with 140 votes but on a map with only 5 votes that can bring it down by an entire star. Your entire argument was that snipers help bring new maps on the top rated list when really they do the oppisite...

now, aju, i disagree with your snipers 'bring balance to NUMA'. Ive always voted how i feel, out of 2 for enemy placement, gold placement, ninja placement etc, out of 2 for tileset, and the last point only if the map is one of the best of its type (race-the-thwumps-puzzle, or rocket-dodging-in-loops-action, etc.) not many people get fives from me, i think ive given mayb 7 or 8.
but now, with everyone getting sniped, i often just add one or two, to make up for the 0s.
i reckon if there were no snipers, then people on NUMA would no longer think a 3/5 is bad. in fact, theyd be happy with it as their map is above average. with the snipers, people are giving average maps (2.5/5) 4s or 4.5s.
