| Description | *This is dedicated to all of those who think races are boring, generic, and too easy.*
That said, this is by far one of the toughest races I have ever created (and played for that matter). You need exceptional speed and perfect timing to beat the drones. If done correctly, there should be quite a few thrilling close calls. I have spent several hours creating and playtesting this map, and I believe it to be near perfect. Please comment constructively and rate. Also, I will make a ded for the fastest all gold demo. I have a demo available to prove this is possible, but I don't want to release it unless everyone is stumped. Have fun, and good luck! ~epigone~ |

take your time on a race map
i don't mean take a pee and come back, i mean move dileberatly through the level without trying to make every jump fbf perfect and the map is just easy, no way around that. I assumed you guys would realize I meant take your time in terms of a race map. Also, the point of every map in N is to go as fast as possible, what makes a race a race is a flowey set path, that's it. Not the speed involved, horrible numa misconception. And the thing about maps like this is improving them means totally revamping parts and that's just unfeasable so that's why you didn't get ideas because to change one section of map means it's a completly different map.

I thought this map was fun and interesting. admitadly not very origanl though. It is impossible to say "if you take your time," becuase the point with races is to go as fast as possible. almost any race is incredibly easy if you go too slow.

Ouch maximo. Sorry you're not fond of race maps. I can take cricitism, but could you at least offer suggestions on how to improve? Not all of us can be masters like you :/

this wasn't hard
or fun really. It was just a mediocre map with curves. If you take your time there is zero challenge actually. Sure if you try to go super omgosh fast it gets harder, but that's true for every map ever, even races. This was rather generic as well, just a series of connected loops with some drone timing, typical stuff really. Oh, and per most races this felt excessivly like a dda when played.
