| Description | I wasn't sure what category to put this under - it's a bit action, a bit N art, and a bit test level too (test level because it's my first).
Anyway, the object is to unlock the path to the door (while the mouth is attempting to eat you, no less) while avoiding the three switches which each unlock one zap-nav drone. Ironinmg out all the bugs gave me grief, but if there's any problem remaining (e.g. no door switch), please tell me. Want to see my other maps? Well you can't because they don't exist. |

yeah, it's not a great map (in my opinion), but it's not crap either. Really pretty good for a first one (and I know your later ones are better :P ). I like messing around amongst the letters.

But my maps tend to balloon out into something ridiculously complicated. And then my computer crashes.

when theres no real pattern to it and theres just bits and peices scattered everywhere
my biggest piece of advice would be, you only get one first map, so you should make it count, i suggest redeeming yourself by making a far more simpler basic level that is fun

It's my first map.
I wasn't expecting this to be recieved well.
And I did say it was a bit experimental.
Where exactly did I do wrong, anyway? Please give examples, as "Look at better maps," although good entertainment in itself, isn't too helpful.

try emulating what top rated maps have in common that your map lacks, style, decent gameplay and a good looking tileset
