the reason you cant see all the little bones in the wrist is cuz the hand is tilted, imagine holding a ball over your shoulder, your palm is up, and from a side viw, you cant really see the part of your hand that has all the tiny bones...
as for joints on fingers...the chunks missing represent that, to an extent...tiles are too limited to really display them properly...so i went more with what worked well

check my new map and uhm i like the mine placement its odd and inventive also it doesnt really resemble the hand bone wise on a scientific point lol just playing where are the joints?????!?!?!??!?!?!!?!?!?
