Would he have settled down, had little N kids? Where would he be now? He sighed. The sun made gold reflections on the pool. They danced in his eyes, even with them closed. A wind picked up and carried leaves across his vision. With a roar, the placid waters of the spring exploded upward. N was on his feet immediaty, scanning for danger. He could see something below the surface, something sinister... N could hear the whine of Gauss turrets nearby. "Damn!" he thought. " Time to get out of here...." |
