Metroid

Metroid series rocks. I made 2 similar maps for magmoor and norfair.

i agree with Ro. also, i think, (and this is purley superficial) that you should make your maps more attractive; they're very blocky, try using some of the angled and rounded tiles to smooth off some of the edges.

Improved

Obviously this map is much improved from your previous maps. I liked how the drones were released after hitting that one switch. It adds a lot to the challenge. I haven't made a demo yet; I keep dying when I have to just hit the last switch in order for a clear path to the exit.

You should, however, add some gold to it. Give the option of trying to go for an all gold run. Two of the switches are optional because you only need to hit one switch to gain access into the one switch surrounded by three locked doors. I skip the two in the top right section of the map. One more problem is when you hit the switch that opens the doors for the enemies, if you jump straight up for it, you die from the trap doors- forcing the player to jump to the left and move to the right in midair. Your level still needs a bit of polishing but it is nevertheless satisfactory. Keep up the good work.
