Me too. I read the manual, followed the steps, but when i watch a demo, it is all messed up. (usually just N jumping around randomly)

to post a demo, go to the level editor (press ~ on the main menu for N), load the level (copy and paste the map data into the level data box), click outside the level data box, press L, turn Caps Lock on (for non-frame-by-frame), press 1 (to record the demo), press P (to start playing). When you finish, press ~ again to go to the debug menu and copy the demo data in the demo data box and paste it in the comment's demo data box. If you don't like your first demo, press R to reset the level and try again. (Sorry if it's confusing).
