It is okay, it would be far better though if you set up some sort of theme that the map was based around, or better yet a specific route that the player should follow.

A survival map should be more than just leaping wildly in the hope that you won't be killed for another split second, there should be some strategy involved, and a reasonable chance of actual survival.
