not bad.

it's got good flow, i just think you should stick to one main theme to decorate your map. right now you have a couple, but if you want to focus on checkerboards, you should make it all checkers.

its ok. its still a noob map, but I can see you have potential.

Look around at some of the top-rated race maps, see what is special about them. Try and imitate those maps. Eventually you'll get the hang of making good flow and you will develop your own style.
