That was what I was coming back to this map to do. I was gonna remove most of the outside gausses.

My advice to you would be "Simplify, re-coordinate, and then complicate." You have some good things going on here, but the level as a whole is too complicated. For example, the guass in the middle section are very well placed, if a little numerous, but they aren't affective because there are so many guass in the outside that it lags the turrets in the middle down too much for them to be effective.
