Yes......

but back in the day (4 Months Ago) you could play cool maps by Atramentis or Sendy of Formica and not worry about this kinda sub par mapmaking.

really its true beginers first maps get rated to high and the maps are in the top even though they suck!

any map i have a reasonable amount of fun with
gets a 3 or a 4

Hellheart, it may be a 4/5 to you, but back when maximo and all, this woulda been a 2. I dunno, sorry for this rant, once again, its just I hate how so many maps are being rated 4/5. You can't rate it higher because it is a beginner map.

Hmmm

Very simple, but add too much and it gets cluttered...maybe seeking zap drones or gold and mines in the center would have added some in the way of thrills. I did like how the top-left corner was optional, but it would have been better if there was like a gauss in the lower-left corner or something to make that harder to get. That said, beginners' maps should exist and this isn't a bad one, just the placement of some objects have no real functional use whatsoever and don't make things that much prettier, so 4/5
