This extreme talent has rendered him, not only owner of one hefty set of N skills, but also owner of his very own "Mother Thumping"-genre map. to beat this map. Check back in a couple weeks for a completion demo. I will beat this map. I have to. I've only successfully gotten through that part that maniak just died on in his last demo once, and I usef fbf.

Anyway, I figured out a consistent way to do it: get the chaingun to fire when he's in the lower right corner and run the heck through there. If he catches you while you're in there, try desperately to stay on the middle block between the thwumps.

Disregard my last comment. I realize that it's just fine. It's just hard as crap. That's the way I wanted it though. I just forgot who I was for a moment there. I'm that bastard that makes all those outrageously tought maps.
Now that I think about it, I probably could have made it harder.
Anyway, it is passable and I started to develop a conscience when I made that last post. Several shots of Black Velvet and a few rounds of Super Smash Brothers Melee cleared that right up, though.

I have a nice fix.
For the whole "double-thwump while under chaingun fire" part, if you think it'd be necessary and you don't think it would break too many demos. I beat it one time while I was play-testing, but it was hard as shiznit and almost fluke-ish.
Since it's dedicated to you, I'd want your OK on it, Maniak. This is all pending on the fact that it is not rated before I get around to fixing it, too.

The odd thing with this demo is that it says I was killed by a mine instead of by myself, as is usual with thwump-squishings.

As for me,
I like this map. It's a classic blue_tetris bloody difficult map. The only part I didn't particularly like was the bottom part, with the two down thwumps and the chaingun shooting at you. It's kinda unfair.
Anyway, the furthest I've gotten is the one-way/door section, second time coming down. I'm positive I can beat this, though.

I said I was going to dedicate this map to the person who beat it. Maniac beat it. If you like maps that aren't dedications, play my other maps. This map is both cool--and for Maniac, who proved he was the man.
