To me it sounds like you can get more than 11 colours.
I've got black, pink, brownish-yellowish, dark aqua, voilet, brown, white, gold, grey and a colour almost exactly the same as the background. I've got one more colour to go!!
My fave map I've ever made is Lightning 98.
You guys may not like it but I reckon it's awesome!!
