I made a few Door Eeries that I really enjoyed a few years ago. Now I'm just waiting for DEs to get old enough to become popular again before I do any more.
The rules I used for my door eeries:
1: More paths means more fun.
2: Think Minotaur in the Labyrinth if you're going to use enemies.
3: Always line up the doors so that they are flush.
4: Do not put in redundant doors.
5: Use gold only when necessary to keep the ninja alive or guide the ninja to the next switch.
