... Or, in other words, try to get your aesthetic from something other than three krusch maps that you mushed together. It plays nicely, but until you develop a more distinctive style of mapping, no one (except fotf) will care. If you want people to pay attention to how your map plays, try to make it look like it came out of your brain, and not anyone else's. You've got the capability, you just need to make something that comes out of you.
My first impression of this map was that you slapped three krusch maps together and called it a day. All the motifs are his. That was my overwhelming impression. If you really want people to like your maps, you have to try a different tact. Make a map in *Mekkah's* style, not in krusch's or baraba's or uber_haxor's or whoever.

"Original material of your own" is just a little redundant, isn't it. Anyway, in retrospect, I don't mean to be so harsh, but I stand by my point that despite the fact that this is a quality map, you really had no hand in creating it.
