I'm sorry I wasn't more clear on this GHM - I shouldn't have sugar-coated my comment - that could've been a bit misleading.. So here goes:
This is an abysmal feature. If I were atob I would probably go as far as revoking your Reviewer Status. I believe that if you or indeed anyone who submitted this tripe as a trial submission; it would have gone straight to the junk folder. There are many willing members who want to review quality playable maps, including me, who want to choose maps that will be etched in a player's memory for a long time. To me, this map is like porn - You can enjoy it once then you forget about it. - ska [nmaps.net]

That's not what made this stand out for me. But yeah, sorry about this. Featuring was probably not the solution to my problem. ;)

Seriously,
if anyone deserves to have a DDA map featured, it's Clifty. This can't come close to most of his DDA, nreality or not.

Woo!
Sorry, this is just something personal that got my goat a bit. I wasn't featuring a dda just for the sake of it, I just thought it was a step in the right direction from what I think has been a stagnation.
But whatever, I'll get back to normal reviews soon. That, and the grammar was bad too D:

my feeling about this in 4 words
What a dumb feature.

woah i thought dda's were
not supossed to be featured.. now thats the tranges part... not the walking through walls, or teh phantom lasers... the scary part is that this, a DDA, is a feature =D

I don't get it...
What was this story that this DDA supposedly lorded over every other? Frankly I found it to be laggy and just as boring as you claimed it wouldn't be. If you simply have to feature a DDA why not give clifty some modern day exposure?

I don't like it when
reviews trash other maps in addition to praising the map being featured. It's enough to talk about the good qualities of the map. There's no need to go hatin' everything other map by default, and in this case the people who play them, too.

still as good as when i saw it last month.
Nice feature.

Yes!
Finally, a LordofPeanuts Feature! Good on you, GTM!
Oh, and shut up teraza. It obviously is feature-worthy, as it's been featured...
I won't rate this, since I did it on my old account.
Oh, and holy crap I just got 0th on nreality! W00t!

'ey, thanks ska!

hmmm
for some reason... watching this DDA again a couple of months later doesn't appeal to me as much as it did the first time... While featuring a map of such a genre is bound to attract criticism; I admire your bravery/stupidity.. I'll leave that deliberation to the masses.

Wondering = wandering?

well done
amazing dda, alot going on though but it works and makes it a very cleaver map :)
The dda's been stagnating as a genre for too long, imo. People think they can just add loads of enemies and make something new, whilst it's actually been done thousands of times before.
This is a reminder that, when ddas are given the same foreshadowing as action maps, the results are often fantastic. I'll try and make a dda following this philosphy as well.

Neither
do the chainguns...
They're just there for looks, like the chainguns provide close calls. It would still function without them, but it wouldn't be as cool.

Errr...
Why bother with the ghost drones? They don't really contribute anything. =\

This is what I'm talking about.
A dda that, not only has engaging action, but an actual theme, some nice construction and a little foresight. 4aved.

Very great
dda! I like people who can make a dda with style and chaingun drones;) 5/5

Agree with Life247.
The ghost drones didn't do that much, but they added a nice effect.

I love how you have embraced NReality.
It seemed the ghost drones didn't do much, but the close calls were great. 4.5 up/faved.
Cheated demo.

Look, I thought this was an issue with ddas that needed addressing.
> I'm the one who's written over twenty quality reviews on NUMA, so I think I have enough experience and judgement to decide whether something like this is necessary or not. I thought it was, and if someone else thinks it's not, that's their opinion. They didn't feature it, so they're entitled to their opinion.
> I'm part of the team that's deciding which reviewers actually get through to take my place, so don't give me any shit about me taking up space for other reviewers. If anyone else wanted to submit something, they'd have done it already.
> I'm still pretty pleased with my choice; I liked this dda because it was different from the others imo whilst still maintaining a high standard of gameplay. I thought that someone developing a motif rather than just leaving tracks of objects was something to be praised.
> At the least this is a damn sight better than that "Diana Car Crash" thing godeNator did ages ago. :P
Likewise, everyone makes mistakes occasionally. o_O
