| Description | A first race. Very heavily inspired by Riobe and the RacePack (though probably nowhere near as good. In fact, definitely not). However, I had a lot of fun making & playing it, and I hope you do too. Feedback is much appreciated on this one - I've put a fair bit of work into it and I'd like to know how to make better races, because they're a lot of fun.

I agree with you entirely about the rocket bit. It's tricky, but if you go fast enough around there (which means sticking the jump off the 5 tile on the left as you go up) you can keep the rocket alive all the way around, and duck under it as you hit the launchpad. That is difficult though, for sure.

apologies for triple post...
Ok, this demo will have to do. Really fun race though, nailing the thwump bit is the most fun jump I've ever done. Faved, but still a 4 because of the little niggles.

Destiny is right, this is very good for first, and quite complex and interesting.
There were bits i didn't like (slightly buggy enemies, the not very pretty clump of mines), but still a 4. The rocket bit where destiny died was a pain too. demo partly fbf'd cos I got impatient.
